I have been playing with pages in my newly finished journal,
a journal of just bits and pieces, playing with colour and techniques, that sort of thing, spending some time on the back ground and then thinking mmm what to do with it now lol
so i ended up with this double spread, they are actually the same size but with product, gesso, inks and paints, they have gone all out of shape lol,
i actually love it when that happens!!
so the back ground is firstly gesso'd and dried, then ink and water, spreading it out with the water and drying between each colour then i did some stenciling with some distress ink.
some scraps of paper next that i tore round the edges and lightly inked with black and drew a rough couple of lines to frame them and layered them up
some die cut leaves in black and die cut flowers that i stamped on, inked to colour in, drew border lines in and inked on the edges.
i centered them with clear raised dots, for the life of me i cant remember their names lol
i found some quotes, inked the edges, frames with my black journal pen and stuck on using 3d foam pads to raise them off the page.
oh and the splattering in black, a must it just brings everything together,
love some splattering lol
