I have been wanting to do this for ages, just a cheapo vase i bought last year, every time i use it i think, one day i will play with this, well i have!!
and i love it,
not at all as i imagined it to be, it was going to be pastel and delicate......err no....lets keep going and just add more and more colour!!
i textured the other sides using paste and a stencil, it already had the string round the neck so i left that in place.
i made lots of paper clay flowers,
textured the front with paste and glass beads.
placed my flowers and metal leaves, using heavy gel paste to glue.
let it all dry and then its time to play with colour, and like i said it just kept building, and as i added more colour and they mixed to make even more colours i got excited and just carried on,
i was using inks so it got very messy!
i then added some wax....well you have do don't you lol
i absolutely love it.....just need someone to buy me flowers now!!
