I have had this tea pot sitting on my landing window ledge forever.....i hate tea....but i love teapots....and jugs lol
i have been eyeing it up for a while to pretty it up !!
as i walked past it the other day i grabbed it and this is the result.
it started off a bit art deco style ish..... not at all pretty,
cant remember why i liked it, or maybe just because it was a teapot, maybe i had every intention of prettying it up!!
well whatever the reason i like it a whole lot better now.
think this might become an obsession!!
i'm not normally a pastel sort of person but i sometimes feel that i should just so i am trying something different and i am glad i make myself cause then i end up with something nice.
so a much improved teapot i feel !
using gesso, paste, lots of pearl beads, metallic paint, wax.
wooden flowers and leaves, wooden feather, some pearl headed pins, Prima fabric flowers and leaves, paint splattering

is everyone as happy as me getting covered in paint?
just love how messy this can be........or is that just me!!
