Woohoo its here........

My scrapping kit that is,

so now i have photos, i have paper, so what shall i do with it all lol mmmmm lets see what i can come up with, its a long time since i have scrapped and have lost all ideas and mojo, probably need to have a look around and see if something inspires me.....and on the stitching front here is my progress on "the family sampler", its coming along slowly but surely, actually enjoying stitching this at the minute, i was not really in the zone when i started it but i am getting there now, i am loving the fact it gives you option for how many children you want to put in plus dogs and cats, so i am having me and the girls on one side dh and ds on the other with a dog and a cat.

so now i don't know what to do this evening, i need to be making quilts for wood-n-stitches but i want to be stitching and playing with paper HELP !!!!!!!!

Carboot find........

Now i know not everyone gets excited about such little things as i do but on my usual sunday morning wonder round the carboot with the grandson and apart from the usual little toys and bits i come across, i found these this morning..... thought they would be perfect for displaying some stitching on, and when asked the price i was told 50p each i just had to have all 3....i love them, one need a very minor repair, but thats fine, seen as i expected them to say a couple of quid each i am a happy bunny with my find this morning.......
I was going to show you my progress on LHN "The Family Sampler" but while writing this blog entry i realised i have forgotten to take a piccy, which is essential to showing you something lol, so i will carry on stitching this afternoon and take a pic later......

Sunny Sunday........

if not a little breezy, but lovely in the sun, it started off early when jake and i went for a wonder round the car boot, jake is such a smart little chap, i bought him 3 little cars and a clear as anything he said to the lady, "could i have a bag please" and without me even prompting him, the lady behind the stall melted on the spot lol,

we then went to a scrapping shop where he was as good as gold and played in the kiddies corner while i bought some bits, some of which were kiddies transport themed papers.......and low and behold when grandad gets home off they go to wash the car, perfect for the transport theme lol

now he looks very busy but i can assure you most of the water ended up on him and not the car....but he enjoyed it none the less

ok so i have bought papers i have taken photos now i just need to put them all together mmmmmm

This weeks stitching.....

I got on ok with my stitching this week, quite enjoyed being in the zone again, although for some reason i have charts august and december missing so i need to find those, or re buy them before i can finish, i still have october and november to do which i do have the charts for but i am going to have a break and work on ....

then i want to work on some little ornies me thinks, just what i fancy doing at the minute!!

Craft room clear up

I lost my craft room recently, i had been busy making stock for wood-n-stitches and as i hadnt realy been spending much time in there it became a dumping ground for stock, bags of fabric, rolls of wadding etc etc, along with my hall way, it had come to the point i couldnt even open the front door some will say this has been going on for some time, which it has but no way to that extent, but now as we have rented space i am able to sort it all out and reclaim my hallway and my craftroom, hurrah i cry, although i was not looking forward to the actual doing of the deed, i realy rather enjoyed it, i found things i had no idea i had and things i hadnt seen in some time
i found a front door lol
and i found stitching i had no idea where they had gone to, one of them was this LK i started a few years ago, i had forgotten all about it, but after finding it i have started to stitch on it again, jan and feb were already done so yesterday i started on march, i realy have the stitching bug at the moment and am enjoying stitching on this

pity i didnt find my brambles and roses though, wonder if that will ever turn up!!so i have my craft room back although i will be sharing it with my grandson when he stops at the weekend so i have invested in some boxes to keep everything out of little fingers way,
AND
i have got the urge to scrapbook again and have just been out buying stash!!

Day out

Jo and i went to see our mate Polly yesterday, we had a lovely day, went for a wonder round a garden centre then out to lunch and then sat in polly's garden for the afternoon, it was just lovelythe sun was out and where we went for lunch was right by the water, it was gorgeousand while we were in the garden centre i just couldnt resist these two, buttons bunny if for our new grandbaby when she arrives and the little bird is for me lol, i just couldnt resist either of them !!

Easter egg hunt

We have just a had a lovely time in the garden with jake having an easter egg hunt, he was realy good and with a few "oh look over here" going on he found all of the eggs

they were in the trees and bushes, on the slide, in jakes bike, all over the place lol

and mixed in with little chicks and chicks filled with little chocolate eggs and sweatsoh and then we had to eat all the chocolate, well some of it, we are now trying to convince jake he realy doesnt want to eat it all but to save some for tomorrow, not convinced that is going to work lol

Latest finishes

We had the "crafty weekend" from Wood-n-stitches this weekend, which was fantastic, the ladies asked for a bag workshop, so thinking cap on and i came up with this bag,which was the inspiration for the cushion i made for the exchange, which i loved and wanted to keep for myself, but didnt have time to make anything else so had to part with it, sooo during the weekend i came up with these too cushions, all for me, i very rarely manage to get anything to keep for myself so these are mine all mine lol, i'm rather pleased with them too lol

Crafty Weekend exchange

We are in the middle of the "Crafty weekend" in the scout hut, day 1 done, (and was fantastic fun) day 2 to go, this is the exchange piece i did which was received by the wendy lady, i realy enjoyed making this and very nearly kept it for myself lol, but decided to make myself some more instead!and this is what i received from jo, arent they fantastic, (thanks sandra, who made them) and jo !
back for another day today where i will hopefuly finish my cushions and everyone will finish their bags that they are making in the workshop, they are all doing fab, i will bring photos later lol

Mothers day

I have been spoilt again for mothers day,lots of lovely things from the kids, a tea towell and lovely heart from cara, and she is taking me out for a meal on tuesday, a mug and picture frame(complete with pic) and flowers from ameeNiall bought me this gorgeous flower basket, which arrived in Daisy's rucksack on the motorbike, amazing what you can carry on a motorbike loland from Jakey poo this gorgeous little keyring, isnt it cute lol

and some gorgeous cards with hand written notes i cant repeat in them ,cause they make me cry, soppy sod lol
and not a chocolate in sight WOOHOO

Slowly slowly....

See my sunday evening stitching went out of the window again,
must try harder lol
but it is coming on slowly slowly, sat down to stitch on sunday and managed a whole 20 minutes most of which i spend unpicking the same 15 stitching twice lol then had to put it away anyway so didnt get any further sigh !!
next sunday for defo lol

Back on the planet....

Ok so i dont know where the time has gone it is almost the end of january already,
my head has been somewhere else with being ill for almost 7 weeks, got that sorted out with the help of the docs and had a few days of feeling better and WHAM another cold.....please go away and find somewhere else to live!

was just uploading some pics and realised i hadnt put any of caras birthday , we all went out for a meal which is the custom but she wouldnt let the whole cake and candles thing happen so that was done in private at home after lol
but i love this photo, the sparklers/candles are actualy in the shape of "21"
my babies aren't babies any more!!
