for this project i got covered in ink again lol

i prepared my page with clear gesso to start and dried it

i then dotted some of the heather paint on the pages and with a sponge spread it about, not solid just dragging it around, i then  dropped some of the color glow on the glass mat, added water to activate and sponged this on too.

when dry i then added some paste through my stencil and dried again.

i then added a little bit of stamping, just randomly all over.

then it was fussy cutting and layering.

deciding on my title.

then i bordered with the wax and some black ink.

to finish i activated the color glow again and splattered.

i have had this waiting around to be prettied for quite a few years and after doing the box in these papers i decided this was the range to do this in too.

another of my DT projects for July for Thompsonscraftsupplies

it is quite a large piece and holds 12 x 12 so is great for holding my latest collection as i am working through them, so it is now a permanent fixture on my desk. 

for this i used the 

13 arts color glow tanzanite

from my stash i also used a white gesso and a heavy paste.

i completely covered my piece with the white gesso and let it dry.

i then sponged over that with the heather and the fuchsia  paints.

i added some of the tanzanite her and there and activated it with water and then dried.

next was the papers, fussy cut and using gel medium glued them on all over the piece, even the half flowers from the edge of the papers were good as i had a lot of straight edges to place them.

i then coloured my heavy paste with a drop of the fuchsia paint and used this with my stencil, just overlapping the papers in places and filling the gaps in between my papers.

when this was dry i added some more of the color glow tanzanite powder and activated with water and moved the colours around, i then dried it with my heat gun, lastly i used my pentart wax to bring out more of the texture from the stencil paste.

from my stash i also used wooden corners, word sparkle, heavy body paste, 

mixed media spray magenta.

how i did it......

for this project i started by covering the tag with one of the papers and then using the stencil added the paste and dried it then went over with clear gesso and dried again, i then added some colour with the 13arts color glow , the mixed media ink and some water to get the colours moving. when this was dry i added my wood and chipboard pieces.

i did some fussy cutting from the paper pack and layered this up on the chipboard, 

i gesso'd the word and then waxed with the purple pentart wax, i also used this on the rest of the tag, lastly i added the flowers from the flower mix.
