Please can i tell you about something new, i have joined forces with a good friend Jo and together we have created wood-n-stitches.co.uk
we have some new and exciting things planned for the future, wood and stitches comprises of decorative painted items, quilted gifts and things for the home, hand dyed needlework fabrics and threads along with charts from Jayniffa designs and many other well known designers.
we also have workshops planned so you can come along and make some of the items yourself, painting, quilting/patchwork, scrapbooking, stitching,tole painting, we are happy to bring the workshops to you and your crafting group.
we can also be found out and about at craft fairs, come see us at MELTON DAY which is on the 31st of may, more dates and details to follow.
we are also introducing a loyalty card, more details to follow

And there's more...
Here we have the Sadie bag, named so because of my workfriend Sadie when i pulled this one out of the bag to show her got very excited..."00h i like that one" i always take my projects in to show them to see what they think...i think she liked this one lol
then we have the wallet this has a bag to match but i can't show you that yet as it still needs its button lol, most of the bags will have wallets to match, i have one of these wallets that i use all the time and love it
it was crop day today and we were all very industrious, got a bag made a wallet to match finished and another bag a 1/3 of the way through, my poor machine is so tired and needs a rest so it has been left in its trolley, but sshhh just for tonight, it will be back out and busy tomorrow lol

Busy Lizzy
I have been pretty busy this past week or so i have been making lots of goodies, lots of kiddies drawstring bags, some tote bags, here are two of them, they are called "The Cherry Blossom bag" named so because the first one reminded me of that, but as you can see it can come in many different colors, of which it will do so, a butterfly design is under the machine needle as we speak, literaly lol
i have also been playing with this design for a round box, several of those have been stitched just need making up,
i have also designed another hand bag which i will show you soon...camera batteries decided to give up lol
well the butterflies are waiting....back to it....

Mothers day Goodies
Here are my lovely gifts from the kids, Niall made the first one all himself, it has a teddy, mug and plate, balloon, keyring, badge, and some coconut mushrooms yum yum
then from Cara this gorgeous plaque and teddy, and more choccie, i'm resisting eating it, so far so good lol,
From Amee i had some Flowers, just realised i forgot to take a piccie, she is also getting me a CD but can't actualy find it at the minute, i saw the advert and can't remember where you can buy it lol, so am looking out for the advert again!

Here you can also see jake delivering his mummy her pressies, (also made by niall, clever clogs) it was bigger than jake and he could'nt lift it so we put it in his trolley he had great fun driving it around and when he came to deliver it he just shook the trolley till it fell at his mummies feet lol....delivered!!

Another bag
this one was a pressie for my friend jak, but it is from the same pattern (dotty delight) a real summery feel, it just shows how different they can be when using a different fabric.
