Mix Em Up!

I have been having a play this afternoon and mixing my fabric in with my scrappin, and this is what i came up with....... it has its own stand which folds away for storage.

Heart alphabet finish

Stitched just because i felt like it lol, loving it, might just have to do this one again too lol
it was a freebie i think but i have no idea from where!

Food exchange

This is what i made for lucy in the Exchange heaven food and drink exchange, loved stitching this, in fact i am stitching it again for me i loved it so much, thats very rarely happens that i stitch something twice lol

A quilted postcard

lookey lookey what i received from colly yesterday, i was the guineapig lol but do i mind no way lol, i have seen these stitched but this one is quilted, its gorgeous thank you colly x x

look at this that i have just received from Sue in the exchange heaven food and drink exchange, is'nt it just gorgeous, thanks Sue.

Mothers day

hope you all had a lovely mothers day, mine was just another day, too much going on, i had to go to work for a few hours but then alex and i went off fabric shopping so that made up for it, but everyone was out anyway busy busy, so when i go back i cooked dinner and played with fabric,
i received cards with the messages that always make me cry, i also received some yummy thorntons choccies in my fave flavours, strawberry,orange and lemon,they did'nt last long i can tell you lol i also received two huge bunches of daffodils, i love daffs! i can't take a pic as my camera batteries have just died and i can't find any more right now!



i eventualy chose something to make for my mum, after lots of umming and arring, what shall i do? so i made this bit try for her when she's stitching, it is padded on the bottom so it can be used as a pin cushion too! its one of colly's designs that i stitched recently.

Ornament Hanger

i take part in a lot of stitching exchanges and receive a lot of hanging ornies, i want to have them all out on view so have been looking for hangers for them, i found a plain old wooden mug rack the other day at the car boot and did this with it,
rather pleased with the result.....

Photo frame

i also managed a photo frame, wonder who the subject will be!
a very simple design but i love it, the frame began its life gold, but i have painted it blue leaving some of the gold showing through and then rubons on the bottom corner.

Some scrapping

Woohoo, i actualy managed some scrapping today while at the scout hut crop, i am making an album of jakes first year, month by month, so i have one of the day he was born and then i will be doing one for the 21st of each month after that, here are my first 3 pages,
sorry they are not the best but its dark and me being impatient can't wait for daylight lol

well its 5.42am monday morning a full week of work ahead, would realy love to stay at home and play but alas i can't but i am going to go now and decide what to stitch later.

here it is all finished, i am loving it, i have enjoyed every stitch of this design

Another finish

Quilt exchange finish

I took part in a quilters exchange on the crafty natter forum i am a member of , how it worked was we all started off with the same fabrics, a FQ of each, each member of the exchange chose a fabric without knowing what each other had bought passed them around so we all started with the same fabrics, we then were allowed to add 3 more different colours to it, this was to include borders and backing, we then went off again without knowing what we were all making and ended up with a quilt, wallhanging, whatever.....this is my offering it is to sit on my sofa, i am chuffed to bits with it, even with the BIG booboo i made that i did'nt notice until i took the phot lol, never mind it adds to the character lol......






ok off to spend the day with Colly, Polly and the girls have a great sunday all x
