Christmas Stitching

Every year i have a bit of stitching to do on christmas and boxing day, i had'nt realy had chance to think about it this year with so much going on in the run up to christmas so i just grabbed something that had been on my to do list for a while and easy stitch by Little house needleworks, "Winter Wonderland" i started it on christmas day and finished it on boxing day!

but while i was hunting all the bits out i came across last years christmas stitching which is a Sweetheart tree design "Do all things with love" again started christmas day and finished boxing day.

i also found a couple of other designs stitched over the year "Prairie moon" and "Cherry Hill"

Right off to find something else to stitch for the rest of the holiday.

My finishes

Well while everyone is still in bed and i am rattling round on my own i decided to get all my finishes on here as they will all soon be unwrapped

i have been making little free standing christmas decorations, i just love these, think there may be more to come in this style.

we also did a diary exchange at work and this is what i made for claire.....

i also made some more diaries as presents, michelle, polly, colly and sandra received them, only have pictures of sandras and michelles i forgot to take pics of the others before i gave them out!

My Baby is 21....

Makes you think a bit when your first child gets to 21, it only seems like yesterday and now she is 21 and oh so soon to be a mum herself,
she was feeling a bit down as she did'nt think she could celebrate her 21st birthday with being so pregnant lol....of course you can, so we threw her a surprise 21st birthday party on friday night, she did'nt have a clue, and had a great evening as did those that were partaking in a little tipple lol won't bore you with all the drunken goings on lol but here she is arriving....

and us together, was hoping to get a family photo as i never seem to be able to get them all together very often, maybe a christmas day project for that one then!

Sunday sunday........

well i am trying to be busy here but have not got too far lol, keep being distracted...trying to get some stitching done and finished and then have decided on another project to get done before christmas, need to get my finger out but first let me tell you about yesterday,

yesterday was the crafty croppers christmas party, we had such a great day with lots of singing and a beetle drive game, lots of yummy food and a goody exchange, which were all fantastic, and the best company possible, thanks to all, and thanks to rachel for my goody exchange, this is what i got...thanks Rachel

then when i got home they were all waiting with an empty tree, so after some messing and a slap round the cheek from Amee this is what we ended up with, well this morning after i had cleared all the mess up they made last night lol

let me explain about the slap round the face i received...i can't stop laughing about it everytime i think about it, we were all in tears lol.... Amee was sorting and hanging decorations on the tree, she picked up a decoration went to walk to the tree, stood on something sharp and came full pelt falling towards me who was sitting on the sofa, now at almost 9 months pregnant she is quite a size lol, anyway the hands came out to save herself still holding a wooden decoration on a string, which swung round at a great rate of knots, (sp) well bloomin fast anyway and slapped me round the face, even her BF could'nt believe the noise it made, Amee ended up a heap on the floor at my feet mortified that she had hit me, thinking i was crying...i think i was in shock, boy did we cry with laughter!

any way i think i need to go and wipe my tears away again and get back to my stitching!

This week has flown by.....

Where is the time going? christmas is fast approaching , too bloomin fast, and i'm not ready, have been doing well with my shopping but still have some to do, although with leccy bill, gas bill and car tax all to pay this week there won't be much shopping going on!
i have been busy with my christmas crafts though and have finished off 8 tree ornaments as shown in the last post, 3 exchange ornies and 3 diaries, still another 3 diaries to do, now i want to make a couple of ornies for me me thinks!

we are now on the count down to Grandbabies arrival, two weeks today, he is due on the 17th, just playing the waiting game now.....
