Stitchy sundays!!

Ok so i said i was going to have sundays as my day for stitching,
i'm trying, not quite succeeding every week but i am getting there,
here is my progress so far, i am enjoying this one and it is great for getting me back into my stitching,
no colour changes nothing to much to think about just stitching lol
need to do a chritmassy design next me thinks to get me into the christmas spirit, and then choose my christmas stitching as in the something i stitch over the christmas holidays, no sewing machines just me and my stitching!!
ahhh cant wait!

Coke Lorry

Woohoo we got to see the Coca Cola lorry today it was at Asda in West Bridgeford and we even had some official pics taken by the photographer that we can download at some point
Its Christmas now lol

Crop sunday

It was our monthly crop on sunday and we had a great day as we always do and i had a busy one too, i managed to make 3 lots of bunting and an advent calender for the shop

I also managed to make this advent calender for jake, i bought it with the intention of making it last year but it never happened, well it has now lol, now to find lots of little goodies to put in the pockets

next months crop is our christmas party CHRISTMAS when did that creep up on us!!!
best get some shopping done!

Weekend away...

Back to work this morning after a lovely weekend away, we spent the weekend with Jo and Ian in Stratford upon Avon,
on friday night we met up with Jak and Debs, Tony and Dave and went on a ghost walk round a very dark and old house, then we went for a meal which was gorgeous,
We stayed in the Shakespear hotel which was very old and creaky but perfect

after sleeping off our meal and topping up with a full english for breakfast on saturday we spent the day wondering round Stratford,
and relaxing in the hotel, which was just gorgeous, bagging the seats in front of this gorgeous open fire

there were so many places to sit and relax and open fires all over the place,
the atmosphere in the hotel was lovely and the staff very attentive,
definately a hotel to revisit

Vampire Jake

just have to show you this,
Jake 's nursery were dressing up for the day for halloween on friday ,
this is jake as a vampire, firstly with just the clothes on....

then with his makeup and hair done....

and 5 minutes later lol, boy does he look grown up with his hair lol

and then onto what i have been upto,
i have decided that i am working far too much although i am enjoying it greatly i am also missing doing my own thing so have decided sunday evenings is my time, my stitching time, so i started last week and i am working on "the sheltering tree", one colour nothing to taxing lol.....so we shall see how much i get done tonight, i am off to stitch now lol

Day 2-Crafty Weekend

Mssing people today but we still managed to have a great day, we even, for the last time this year i am sure managed to sit outside for lunch which was just lovely.

there was a little more productivity today....but not much lol

and this is mine from Sandra, Sandra was playing with her new toy, a free hand quilting table.
so another weekend done, shattered now but cant wait till we can do it all again.

Crafty weekend- day 1

well that was day one over in a flash, blink and you missed it.....i wish you could slow down time for these things
lots of laughter as always and i think a little bit of crafting was done...maybe lol
we did have a friendly sheep as a visitor first thing, employed to cut the grass but he was too interested in joining in the fun so had to go cut someone elses grass for a while lol

but as for day one ....great day and a lovely meal in the local brewery in the evening too,

New Quilts and Cushion

Its very hard to get things onto the website when they are ones off's like the quilts and cushions, no sooner are they made and on the stall when they are gone! very good i know but i would love to be able to show you more of them like the alphabet with bright yellow and purple gingham baby quilts gorgeous but no sooner made they are gone, here are a few we have at the minute.......
a single bed quilt, lovely and bright, great for any childs bedroom or play room

and these gorgeous "baby" baby quilts lol so much fun.

and the A for aeroplane and R for rocket applique cushions,
just love them.

Ragdolls and Parties

Ragdolls....and lots of them, well not so many now as these are flying out of the door,
just a small selection of what we have on offer....aren't they just gorgeous

what i have been doing...

well apart from my sewing machine working overtime as usual, poor thing just keeps going for me lol, not that i have done much sewing this week, well not as much as usual, i have been busy with other things, vouchers to go in goodie bags for a health and beauty fair we are doing on sunday in nottingham, i have also been working on an order of personalised aprons for the staff of a local cafe, then sorting through all the boxes that keep arriving at the house, a ton of body shop goodies, and this lot, well the ragdolls have been here a week or so, but the jigs arrived yesterday....

what to say.......

Seen as i can talk for england why am i sat here fingers at the ready thinking, what can i say??
something i dont normaly have trouble with lol but today!!!
so what can i tell you, realy busy with wood n stitches, its going fantastic and is keeping me realy busy which is great but very tiring, realised i haven't had a day off in many many weeks, no wonder i am tired, and i realise also that i am missing jakey time,
he is always over one night at the weekend but is asleep for most of that, so i get to play for a couple of hours then its to bed than in the morning i get an hour or so and i'm off to market or a craft fair, another two weekends working then i think on the third i might have a sunday off lol cant wait for jakey day, it is lovely though that i do get to see him, lots of nipping in and out and a couple of phone calls a day, he takes the phone to his mum and says "nanna", and gets quite upset until mummy rings me ,how sweet is that, we have some lovely little chats, he tells me about rory(whoever that is) and igglgiggle, as he calls him lol a lot of it i have no idea what he is saying lol but i just love our chats
here is our cheeky little monkey, realy do need to have some time with him and the camera, he is growing so fast!
he will be 2 a couple of days before christmas, where does the time go??
there you go i am all dried up now i have waffled for a minute or two!
