we went off for our usual sunday carboot wonder this morning, we always come back with something, usual something baby related but today i found this little lot, the lady said 75p when i asked her the price of one of the little lace pieces on card at the bottom of the pic, so i them asked her how much for the whole lot £5 said she, oh yes please said i!, some are stained which has not come out from washing but with over 70 pieces i am a happy bunny, now what am i going to do with them all?
A real bargain,Lorna...and I'm sure you'll soon think of loads to do with them!!

ReplyDeleteOhhh nice haul! With smaller round ones you can attach a head in the middle and some wings, hair, halo and voilà - you have a lovely little angel with floating dress for your Christmas tree :D

Oh wow wow wow I love them Lorna. I read a book years ago where a lady had made some sort of table cover using all old pieces of lace and linen and it looked wonderful. You truly got a bargain there.

i think a carboot sale is like a yard/garage sale here? anyway..looks like a great stash! you could always try your hand at hand dying the stained pieces!
